Privacy, in plain language.

MeetB Discover is operated by MeetB. This directory helps businesses discover startups and lets founders submit their products for review.

What you share

Startup details, logos, images, and optional video links become public only after approval. Founder email addresses are private and accessible only to the administrator for managing the listing. By submitting, you confirm you are authorized to represent the startup and share these assets.

What we measure

We record submissions, approvals, visits, profile views, and clicks to official websites. A random first-party browser identifier helps count visits once per day. It expires after one day. Session storage helps avoid duplicate counts when navigating. These are simple activity counts, not an audience tracking profile.

Security and preferences

A short-lived, secure cookie protects administrator access. Saved startup IDs stay in local storage on your device. Abuse protection keeps temporary signed counters; raw IP addresses are not stored by this application. Hosting infrastructure may keep its own security logs.

External content

Founder-provided images can load from external websites. Demo logos use Google’s favicon service. YouTube is contacted only after you choose to play a video. These services may receive your IP address. External websites have their own privacy policies.

Retention and changes

Submitted information is retained while a listing is under review or published. Contact MeetB using the official contact details on MeetB.com to request a correction or removal. Administrators can remove submitted listings. Daily server backups may retain deleted data until their configured retention period ends.
